Bette 'Sis' O'Valley is a jazz music puppet theatre performance for adults. The performance is both the unexceptional life-story of the star, Bette 'Sis' O'Valley and a new arrangement of jazz-standards. Black humor is mixed with the hum of conversation in a smoky saloon in this one woman solo accompanied by a piano player.

The price awarded Spanish choreographer Rafaela Carrasco has made a wonderful new flamenco piece for the dancers of Alma Flamenca Emilia Aho and Katja Lundén. The music for Estados del yo has been composed by Pablo Suárez and Juan Antonio Suárez "Cano", innovative young composers and musicians who already have gained their place at the top of the Spanish flamenco scene.

Two quintessential divas; two different eras, language areas, milieus. What connects Hildegard Knef, the great legend of German chanson and cinema; a paradoxical persona whose life took her from Nazi accusations and a concentration camp to Hollywood; and Jorma Uotinen, the absolute icon of Finnish dance art? The essence of being a diva – stardom, success, life’s tragedies – is the central theme of their dialogue, but there is also room to contemplate on the significance of gender in the work of an artist. And by no means is the dialogue limited to speech: suddenly, magnificently, the scene erupts into dance or song. Play moves effortlessly from Nazi Germany to contemporary Berlin; from cabaret to drama and from one theme to another.
